Is it normal to have bumps under eye on the skin after using cucumbers?

Question by Leon Do: Is it normal to have bumps under eye on the skin after using cucumbers?
The bumps are kind of red, and I use cotton squares with soaked up cucumber juice and leave it under eye for about 10 minutes for dark circle use. After I take it off, I see a few red bumps under each eye. Is this suppose to happen ? And also it goes away in a few hours.

  1. You might be having a mild allergic reaction. Are you juicing your own cucumbers? If you are, make sure you’re cleaning them with a product that isn’t going to react poorly with your skin. You might also try placing the cotton squares on the underside of your arm for 10 minutes and see if the same spots appear. If they do, I would advice against cucumber because it might be something that irritates your skin. An alternative is cold soaked green tea bags.

  2. No that is not supposed to happen, I would wait a day or two to see if they go away if not I would consult a GP. Maybe you’re allergic to cucumber? Hope this helps :)

  3. Cucumbers have always seemed to make bags worse, and darker. I have had more success using potatoes, they actually have vitamins that are beneficial to the undereye skin.
